Sangrail

Sangrail is a modular Grail Quest for Heartseeker. It can be added very easily to an existing campaign, or used to begin a new one. In it, the adventurers will experience Grail Visions, which will lead them ever closer to the Grail Keep.

It is printable on a single A4 page (double-sided, flip on short edge!), and designed in black-and-white to be as printer-friendly as possible. Sangrail contains:

• Some guidelines on running a Grail Quest as a referee
• 7d8 tables for generating elusive Grail Visions
• 3d8 tables for generating Grail Knights to encounter on the Quest
• The Grail Keep - a three-room transcendental dungeon
• 6 Advanced Character Classes - Paladin, Hero, Magi, Saint, Pilgrim, Hierophant

Note that the Hierophant requires Heartseeker: Druids and More Rules, as it is an upgrade for the fan-made Druid class. 

If Heartseeker isn't your thing, rejoice! Sangrail can be converted to the game of your choice fairly easily. There is only one stat-block within (Grail Knight), which shouldn't be too hard to convert. There are also some Advanced Classes, which will likely need a bit of work to fit the system of your choosing!

Those of you who like my other zines/games will notice that I've gone for a very similar visual style here to my previous game, Tourney Revised Edition. Simply put, I really liked the way that looked so I wanted to do it again! <|: P

Over the past few months I have been playing 2004-era Runescape with a friend. A few weeks ago we quested for the Holy Grail, as pictured above, thus ending our play-throughs. Without my companion Sir Godwinson (right), Sangrail likely wouldn't exist!
